oxycodne addiction help

i have been addicted to oxycodne for a year and a half , and cant stop
how do i go about getting help , do i just see a normal doctor , or do i have to get help somewhere else
and how do i go on a methadone or suboxone program

It depends on where you're sourcing your oxy. If it's being prescribed by a doctor, your best bet would to talk to the doctor in question, explain your concerns and sort out a plan to taper yourself off of the drug.

If you're sourcing it elsewhere, then your best bet is probably to get in touch with your state Drug & Alcohol service, who should be able to refer you to a doctor who specializes in helping addicts.
