Oxazepam and contradictions

Hey friends.
My boyfriend has recently been prescribed a sleep med with Oxazepam as the active ingredient (will edit with dosage details etc)
Just want to know what contradictions this may have with recreational substances, what we should stay away from and what ever else.
Also if anyone has personal experiences taking this stuff medically?

oxazepam is a benzodiazepine which is a sedative, combining it with other downers like opiates, ketamine or alcohol is very dangerous and in high enough doses may result in fatal cns depression.
i used to need benzos for panic attacks and insomnia, they help but they're also adddictive

drinking is fine, but getting drunk on them is a whole other thing
