Opioids Oramorph first time prescribed

Okay so i got this from the chemist yesterday, now the bottle seemed not complete shut but didnt think much of it as its from the chemist, but the solution itself is clear, sticky and syrup like, kinda codeine tasting. This is normal right ?

I have just gone up a higher level in opiates so i am wary and would like to know please before just sipping away

its 10mg/5ml 300mg bottle

Impossible for anyone here to tell you anything definitively unfortunately...but yes, its generally a bitter, clear and viscous solution. If you got it from the pharmacy it probably is what it says it is. Going to closely this however since this is all conjecture.
