Does anybody else get this? I can be fully functional (ie not nodding or passing out) on hydromorphone and the next day I'll have no recollection of what actually happened. It's difficult to be a functioning opiate user when you can't recall anything. This happens when I take enough to get high, but not if I'm just taking enough to stay well. It's like taking a big dose of temazepam and is really creating problems for me.

I had this problem with stronger opiates. I would wake up in the morning and I would need to re-construct the events of the day prior. It was never as bad as benzos which cause irretrievable memory loss for me but its amnesiac nonetheless. Nothing you can do but cut back or try a different opiate.
