Stephen Stahl mentions mixing a NRI or a NDRI with amphetamines as one of his heroic combos for difficult cases of depression.
This way you get an extra NE-boost or a NE/DA boost when you take a NDRI.
What I don't really understand is this:
If I remember it correctly then unlike methylphenidate amphetamines directly work
on the NE and DA neurons.
But if you block the NE/DA receptors with a NRI or NDRI then would this not prevent the amphetamines
from being able to connect to the neuron and reduce their effectivity?
