Opioids Nightsweats after use

Hello.

I noticed I'm sweating a good amount in the night, after using oxycodone in the day/evening. Would this indicate the start of physical dependence, or is it a normal side effect of opiate use? Just wondering.

Id say yes if you’re using frequently enough. There’s also the kindling effect where over time one becomes easier to fall into withdrawal. Usually this happens with heavy use but I could see it happening with less frequent use too, if not many would never get addicted. It’s the withdrawal that brings most of us back again and again.

Depending on your particular physiology, it could be due to disruption of estrogen and testosterone.
