If you forgot your password, you can recover it using the Forgot Password link - it will send an email with directions to reset your password to the e-mail address you have on file, needed when you signed up for the site.
If you cannot get access to the e-mail account you signed up with, then unfortunately policy dictates that nobody can change the password for you, and you should just use your new account.
The rule on BL is that you can only have one account active at a time. It's not a crime to have more than one account, as long as you only ever use one at a time. So you won't get in trouble if you decide to continue using your new account, as long as you don't log into your old one again.
