Your suspicion is correct. It was partially funded by Bluelighters -- credit card statements don't lie. I was nicely satisfied with how it turned out. Of the drug documentaries I've seen, it includes the broadest and fairest discussion of relevant topics -- psychological, social, political -- surrounding psychedelics and empathogens. As of right now it's also available on Netfilix Instant.
