name change with a donation?

wot is this business, i dont remember exactly where, but I thought soemwhere I saw on here that if you donate $20 or whatever, you can change your username
is this the case?
 
alasdair - could you maybe put that link into the support FAQ? At the moment the support FAQ simply states -
Can I change my username?
You can't. You will have to create a new username. Sorry.
However, current or ex members of staff in good standing are permitted a discretionary name change.

I checked this earlier today as I thought we could change via a donation but couldn't find the link you provided.
