Missed jugular

I did a shot of meth in my left jugular. It's got the typical lump and it's itchy. I know how dangerous it is but I've been doing it for years with no misses. I not going to the hospital right away. What do I need to look out for? This happened about 20 mins ago. Thanks in advance

We can't really advise or attempt to diagnose medical conditions and personally I'd want a physical exam before taking any action myself but here's a thread to start with and help determine if this might warrant a trip to the hospital. Not that it's a bad idea considering your hitting in your neck and that can compound things beyond your average missed hit in the periphery.
