Mirroring someone else while on LSD?

So I had my first trip a few weeks ago (it was incredible, of course) one thing that happened though that struck me to be a bit odd is that when my sitter started coughing while smoking weed out of a vape, I began coughing intensely as well, even though I did not inhale anything. Then shortly after I joked and told him he better not fucking puke or I might too. Next thing you know, I start getting the urge to puke just by thinking about it.
Is this normal-ish? Or has anyone else experienced such a thing?
 
Not too surprising. Whenever anybody clears their throat, even if I'm sober I always feel like I have to clear my throat too.
 
Agreeing with everyone else here. This is kind of a natural reaction anyway stemming from human connection. It's actually a connection all living things share. I may yawn right after seeing my dog yawn, and vice versa. LSD may intensify this already naturally occurring phenomenon.
 
I experienced that the first ~twint years of my existence. I didn't recognize this, I wasn't aware I was handicapped at the time. I also didn't effectively form memories during those years and have near complete amnesia of my youth. I began noticing this when I began using psychedelics. Since I have gotten more well.
