May be off the subject but hope i can find an answer. I tried kicking dope. It was 15 hours since my last use and the only withdraws were that i was feeling hot. Any thoughts on this? I only ask because ive been through withdraws after about 9 hours and had the rappid heart rate, vomiting, etc... But this is different and i don't want to take subs too soon just because i waited 24 hours.

Do not take the sub unless you are in withdrawals yet, no matter how long its been. There are lots of factors that can influence how long it takes for withdrawals to start. One big factor of course is what drug you take.... if your dope is mostly fentanyl... withdrawal can start as soon as 4 hours. But with good heroin it can take 24+ hours. I've ever heard multiple days in some cases.

Methadone is notorious for taking a long time to clear and allow for a smooth Sub induction. If you continue to have minimum W/D symptoms you might reconsider the need for subs or at least a more conservative dose of them.
