Not heroin.

I was given some pain killing opioid after surgery in Thailand before - I assume it was morphine.

Something along those lines?
Bupenorphine, suboxone?
Not familiar with all the names.
Oxycodone is expensive and comes in pill format.

I'm aware the pit falls of opioid addition but coming out of the hospital after two shots per day for a week was easy.
Trying to recreate that basically.

A mild injectable opioid is an oxymoron...

Another thing, generally speaking black/grey market opioids are not cost effective at all. Pharmaceutical wise the cheapest ones are probably the synthetic ones, methadone or fentanyl. Morphine is also cheap wholesale, I believe it's a couple pennies per gram to manufacture.

Please be careful, injection opioid use is almost guaranteed to produce a habit.

I'd say the weakest well known opioid for IV use is probably Dihydrocodeine but I'm not sure if it's the cheapest. However I'm not sure if anyone makes IV DHC.

Pretty much impossible to guess what you were given other than giving you the top 5 most likely suspects.

There is no "mild" opiate IV. There is a 99.9% chance that injecting any opiate regularly will lead you to a very intense lifestyle. Intensely painful.
