Hi, I would like to learn More About Methamphetamine Users, talk about experiences, effects, withdrawal, abuse potential, usage reports, etc. Talk About Everything!!!

And extra feedback: How many doses did you get addicted to? Are the effects strong? Compare with other drugs, it is stronger and weaker to which drug?

I don't know anyone else who uses meth as I'm in the UK and it's quite rare. I have given it to people when I was using it and they did really enjoy it.
I mostly smoked it, and found it pretty damn addictive immediately. It gives you such nice euphoria and energy and makes otherwise boring shit fun, so there's kind of hard not to use it all the time when you have quite a bit of it.
Despite using it every day at times I would try not to smoke any after 4pm and would be able to sleep with zopiclone or similar, and would eat in the AM and once late at night.
I think if it was more readily available in the UK I would be fucked and really quite addicted, although I could always get it on the dark web tbh...
I would say it's comparable to cocaine but a lot longer lasting. Smoking my first pipe of the day would give a nice rush that you was almost on pat with crack.
I would give it a wide berth if you have an addictive personality and you love somewhere it's prevalent.

experiences

Very similar to adderall in my experience, only better (when ingested). When snorted there is definitely more of a euphoric rush. I've only smoked Meth once, and that was one teeny-tiny hit off a pipe that really didn't do much but give me a slight weird head buzz which I really didn't care for. I've never shot it.

It also has a tendency to produce pronounced libido-enhancing effects, as It's an evolutionary drug.

abuse potential
High. You must have exceptional will power and follow set-rules or you will almost certainly wind up abusing Meth. The biggest problem with Meth is it's duration: It lasts for forever. It's nearly impossible to manage without going on destructive binges, although it can be done. Once again, set-rules and will-power are critical here.

withdrawal
Fatigue. Extreme, debilitating fatigue. Very few physical withdrawal symptoms, at least for me (here again I use(d) far, far less than your typical user). Also, the textbook cravings associated with Cocaine/Heroin withdrawal aren't necessarily present during Methamphetamine withdrawal. Yes, during the 48 hours Methamphetamine/Amphetamine are exiting your system there is a tendency to crave more. After said substances have left your system? All you want to do is eat. All you want to do is rest. Once you are rested (3-10 days of sleeping 14-hours or more later) that is when the "cravings" begin to start up (for me at least)

How many doses did you get addicted to?
Over the course of 3 years I used anywhere from 25-200MG(MAX) per day (orally). This is not the norm, however: Frequent users will routinely administer 200MG+ in a single dose, and their ROA will 85% of the time be Smoking or Injecting.

Compare with other drugs, it is stronger and weaker to which drug?
Stronger (and longer-lasting) than virtually every other stimulant known to Mankind to this date.
And extra feedback:
Substantially neurotoxic in high-doses, but paradoxically neuroprotective in low-doses:

Also, low-doses promote enhanced granule cell neurogenesis and white-matter track remodeling:

This is what is available in the main harm reduction forums. It answers ALL your questions and much, much, much more. Happy reading. Bottom line: meth a very serious drug with some very specific risks that fucks up many more lives than it improves. The pattern is usually a short period of sheer fucking wonder at the beautiful intensity of it followed by an extended period of regret, misery, social withdrawal, myriad health problems and general waste of one’s life. Bonus info: combining meth with sex/porn/masturbation makes following this pattern a near certainty for most people. On the plus side, as many people here demonstrate, recovery is difficult but not impossible.

People don't commonly smoke 200mg+ doses of meth, they basically never do, no.

As far as I'm concerned, the equivalent of 20mg or so of pharmaceutical meth per day has only been proven useful in rodents with very specific brain injuries.
The Human Studies are classified. Think MKUltra with Meth instead of LSD. 👍

lmfao tweakers are the new stoners

i guess it's more rebellious now
They’re destroying their brains. It’s really sad 😔

Seriously, it’s all the rage now to post videos of yourself “blowing clouds” over on r/meth. It’s sad. It’s hard to watch. All these people just consuming massive amounts of Meth, killing their brains in the process, just depressing 😔

Like guys, do a little Meth everyday along with some other non-neurotoxic drug to supplement your high, grow your brains guys and girls, grow your brains!

I read on r/meth where people are talking about “.2” and “.3” + dosage levels all the time?? Maybe I’m wrong?
Im not saying it doesn't happen, especially among really tolerant users. But most people put like 20-50mg in an oil burner and chief it over time.

hopefully people like you can help build a culture of responsible use now that it's more common to talk about it a bit more openly than 20 years ago, it seems you've already taken interest from your posts about low doses being neuroprotective vs toxic compared to heavy dosing

I'm trying, however I'm banned from starting threads site-wide on reddit (for unknown reasons I might add - probably a CIA-call), so I can only comment on others posts.

I really really wish I could start threads on r/drugs r/meth (hint hint, cough-cough)

....The biggest problem with Meth is it's duration....
Yes.
It's very easy to do too much and 3 or more days without sleep is terrible for both mind & body.
And if it's readily available while I'm on it, I find it hard to curtail my use.
However, once it's gone I'm kinda relieved. I get severe fatigue and extreme hunger but not intense cravings like with other addictive drugs. I just wanna heal.
That said, the wild skyrocketing of libido while on it is a helluva lot of fun.
I'm not anti-meth (or anti-ANY drug, really) but I advise caution with this one especially.
It's a slippery slope.

Just spoof your IP and create a new account
It's a little more complicated than that, for me at least. My life is "interesting" - for all intensive purposes I don't really live in reality. Welcome to the Intelligence life...

I hate it. I find it's the devil's curse. Seriously, the skyrocketing libido is usually what causes all the problems. Eliminate the libido-enhancing effects and you would have one marvelous medication. I'm really really interested to see if the libido-enhancing effects are still present in the prescription stuff. @negrogesic any comment? I know you said Desoxyn is almost sedating in a sense, but what about the libido-enhancing effects? Are they still present?

Hooked since the first hit, I didn’t feel it strong at first, some effects could be compared with MDMA but just at the begging, quick escalated dosing, enters into psychosis after 2 months, unbelievable delusions, vivid visual and audible hallucinations, depersonalization, paranoia, extreme self grandiosity, existence void, undoing self, madness, misery

Thread has run it's course and there are 275 other meth threads here in BL.

This one was trolled, spammed and should have been in Drug Culture from the get go. Any mods disagree.........get with me.
