Methadone to vivitrol injection

I was on methadone for over 3 yrs with my highest dose being 120mg. I slowly decreased over a long period til I made it to 1mg. I stayed at the 1mg for a week then completely stopped. Stayed clean for 7 days and now received my vivitrol injection which I feel is the best decision I could have made. Tapering slowly on methadone caused very little withdrawls, with the exception of restless legs, shortness of breath and lack of energy I've been golden. The vivitrol actually took away cravings and made me feel normal again.
