Opioids Methadone bioavailability with high fat meal?

Hi,

I’m just wondering, considering the extreme lipophilicity (oil loving) qualities of the methadone molecule, would bioavailability & gastrointestinal absorption be increased if it were taken with a high-fat meal, such as a milk-shake?

Not from personal experience. I found that the best effects came from taking methadone with an empty stomach, accompanied by a sweet beverage.
