Meth: Face turned blue

I took a large amount of meth in a foreign country. Could have been a gram, looked about that much. Snorted, swallowed and plugged. Was feeling ok but was breathing really rapidly and paranoia and general agitation levels were extremely high, pleasure not so much. Felt extremely manic. After about 6 hours went to the bathroom to pee and looked in the mirror and thought I was seeing things - my face was a light blue colour, blue grey but heavy on the blue. After about thirty seconds normal colour returned. Went back into my room. Occasional gurgling in throat, major paranoia. A few more hours later back to the bathroom and face blue again. Again, went back to normal colour after standing upright for about 30 seconds. Drank some gatorade and water and eventually got over it and slept the next night. Took several days longer than normal to recover, the first two days afterwards I had trouble with my coordination and kept veering and leaning to the right when trying to walk. Kept up a lot of fluids and pink salt and drinking yoghurt etc, about a week later felt normal again. The high from the meth was not so amazing considering the amount and was a different kind of high, normally I feel quite sexual and watch porn, i did plenty of that but was really focussed on paranoia and lots of OCD and general agitation. Any ideas?

Meth produces delusions and hallucinations in large doses, it's quite possible you were imagining the facial color thing especially since it went away while you were looking.

Hmm, I looked it up and the symptoms matched cyanosis. On the other hand, odd that lack of oxygen (cyanosis) would be so bad to turn the skin blue but as you say, return to normal colour (therefore normal blood flow) in less than a minute. Maybe I was just seeing things.
