I've took molly like 5 different times over 2 months (I know, won't be doing it that often again) and i've got a bit of memory loss per say... my short term memory is a bit shit. If i stay off the stuff for a long time and then when I do do it again properly space it out, will my cognitive function improve again?

Yes you will definitely retain full function again. If you do a search there's studies comparing none users, current users and ex users. The ex users show improved cognitive function over the current users.
