Mecke Regeant gone bad?

Hello, my mecke regant that I have doesn't react with sugar whatsoever meanwhile I've heard its supposed to be a brilliant yellow reaction. Does this mean that the test has simply gone bad and all results are inaccurate? Thanks for all advice.

I gonna throw this over to Pilltesting Q&A, but sugar isn't technically a chemical so what you have might not be the same drug that they used to do their tests

I know theres a link on dancesafe to a US government test results page (so its official) using various different reagants with various substances and mecke is supposed to react with sugar so I'm just wondering why mine apparently has went bad -____-
