MDMA recrystallization: solvent choice

Hey all! I'm planning on purifying some mediocre pills that I have laying around and I'll be doing so by recrystallizing their MDMA content. I was kinda set on using isopropyl alcohol because I've read somewhere that MDMA was somewhat sparingly soluble in IPA at room temp, but I wasn't able to find any literature to back this claim up. So what do you all think, is it IPA or I should use something else? Preferably I'd lean towards solvents that are easy to come by since I'm a kitchen chemist. Thanks!

You can use IPA, add it gradually and keep it warm to dissolve the MDMA.
By keeping it warm you'll need less.

Don't expect big crystals, you'll get tiny shards.

I've never extracted pills but it should work, though you might get dye in the crystals? I would use 10mL of boiling isopropyl for every 1g of MDxx, dissolve, filter the binders out, and then stick in freezer. Just make sure the isopropyl is anhydrous or your MDxx won't want to crystallize.
