MDMA/molly: can i take it if i have Ulceral colitis

In my case it has been mostly mild UC, except for two times where i presented blood in stool and had to go to the hospital for blood transfusion. But that havent happened for two years and a half. It seems the Mesalazine is working well.

So i want to use a moderate amount of MDMA but would like to know how other people with UC have reacted to it

MDMA has been shown to be a bit of an immunosuppressant towards some particular cell types, while it can also exert a pro-inflammatory effect on other cell types. Its anybody's guess how you would react. 90% of serotonin is located in the gut (enteric nervous system), so I would tread cautiously. Most people don't need a big dose anyways.

I've had UC since my early twenties. I've been using MDMA that entire time and I haven't had active disease in about 10 years with imuran treatment. As long as you aren't mid flare up you should be fine. The stimulant nature can.cause active flare ups to worsen but I've never had a flare up as a result of usage.
