On Saturday SWIM took MDMA for the second time with a few of my friends. These pills were tested and definitely contained MDMA. The roll was pretty similar to SWIM's first experience, although the come up and come down were very extreme and terrible and SWIM wanted some insight and was wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience. Basically, coming up on the drug - 20 minutes after SWIM took it these terrible, miserable, anxious fits would happen, where all SWIM could do was bang on the ground in misery. There was no explanation, SWIM was not anxious before or about their drug experience, it was just torture for no reason. Over the course of an entire hour this would happen, slowly getting longer and longer glimpses of happiness and rolling, but the majority of the hour was so awful until SWIM began rolling. Finally, SWIM had a great roll for 2 or 3 hours. Then, out of nowhere, starting to come down, the anxiety hits again, except this time it is way worse. It was truly torture and lasted nearly 2 and a half hours, with hallucinations, paranoia, and just true misery with nothing able to comfort SWIM. SWIM was unable to do anything but pace and pray it would end. Glimpses of normalness slowly faded in and finally it stayed and SWIM felt at best, Ok. Now SWIM is feeling fine, mildly anxious and unmotivated, but nothing crazy. There was five other people who took the pills. Four of them experienced no come up or come down apart from very normal mild symptoms. One of them experienced pretty terrible but short lived anxiety on the come down.
The last time SWIM rolled, which was four months ago, SWIM didn't experience anything like this.
Anyone have any insight?
It would be much appreciated. Thank you
