Marquis results question

I have a cap which was sold to me as mdma.

I tested with you mandelin and it turned blue to black.
Then i test with marquis and there was no reaction.
What could this possibly indicate?

I tested another pill that i've tested with mecke (straight to black) and mandelin (blue to black) and it had no reaction with the marquis either.

Could it be that the marquis has gone bad? I only just bought it today and it was kept in a cabinet with a bright light and was noticeably warm when i first held it.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Test your marquis with sugar, it should turn brown. Or with asprin, I believe it turns... reddish? Try that first
