I was given some capsules not too long ago, when I purchased them I was told they were pretty "average" and I'd probably need 2 to feel anything. I never bothered taking them because the dealer seemed dodgey and the caps looked like crap (looked like they were stuffed with bird seed, chunky brown and white substance).

I got my hands on mandelin and marquis testers and the Mandelin test went completely black while the marquis went bright red.

I was wondering if anyone knows what this could be?

Marquis turning red is an indication of a 2ct compound

From Erowid
2C-T-2 Orange to Red (usually a sort of salmon color)
2C-T-4 Orange to Red (usually a sort of salmon color)
2C-T-7 Orange to Red (salmon, again; also, there is less tendency towards orange than 2C-T-2 shows)

Mandellin going black would indicate a MDxx compound.

Sounds like one strange capsule !

Thanks for the reply. Do you think it would be safe to consume? I'll take a photo of the substance tonight, it looks and smells like shit, never seen anything like it.
