Mandelin tests, is this normal?

Just had like $3000 worth of mandelin tests shipped in for a huge festival happening in less than 2 weeks, where we'll be using the Mecke, Marquis and mandelin tests. We're using the Mandelin tests to test Ketamine and for PMMA (which killed 16 people in January, and left proly twice as many in the hospital waiting for organ transplants...) so super important that they work! This is the first year we've used the Mandelin tests at this festival, so when we opened them up, there was concern that they might be damaged? I took a picture, is this how they're suppose to look or should they be more liquidy? When we rub them in our hands to heat them up a little bit, it does get more liquidy but there are still crystals stuck around it, and in the top. Are they all like this, or should we be concerned? Could they have been damaged while shipping due to heat? Thank you!! Sorry the picture isn't the greatest quality...
