A Lakeland, Florida, man has been arrested after allegedly attacking his brother with marijuana plants.

Polk County deputies were called to the home of Rodney and Jackie Brown on Saturday after getting reports of a domestic disturbance.

Jackie Brown, 33, told authorities that he was arguing with Rodney, 31. In the course of the fight, Rodney allegedly uprooted several cannabis plants and hit Jackie in the face with them, ActionNewsJax.com reports.

Some of the plants were up to three feet in length, according to WTSP TV.

Deputies searched the home and found several marijuana plants as well as drug paraphanalia, according to the Orlando Sentinel.

Rodney Brown was taken into custody and charged with domestic battery, cultivation of marijuana, and possession of marijuana over 20 grams.

He was taken to the Polk County Jail and later released on bond.
