Mailing From Colorado

Hi folks, I am new here and would like to ask a question. I am planning a trip to Colorado this summer to have some fun. It would be nice to bring back some weed but I am contemplating how. I will be flying there , so it would be risky to bring it back on my person. Has anyone ever mailed or put it in checked baggage to fly back home.? Thanks

I've received weed in mail before, but it was vacuum packed. This was also domestic mail, UK to UK. Not sure how it would go between states or countries.
