If only tears could travel all those miles
Up the coastline, mingling with the sea
To sucker punch your soul
So that you could feel what I’m feeling
Maybe then you’d let me be

We leap like dolphins through the air
Submerged, plumbing the depths
Then sometimes we’ll jump for dear life
To feel the sunlight above us
Before we plunge back into darkness
