There's a medicine I take for painthat has its own unique profile but it also blocks sodium channels. It has Ki of 10uM at blocking sodium channels. Is this strong enough to notice any effect? Even a tiny bit?. Thanks a lot
That depends on the dose, the intensity of the pain and the route of administration (sodium channel blockers tend to be local anaesthetics, meaning they are typically injected into the tissue, or applied as topical creams).
