we could always just close the lounge...
which has more harm-reduction value:
- a lurker checking out the focus forums for information without becoming a member
- a member who's been banned and/or infracted numerous times posting nonsense in the lounge and taking up bandwidth by posting an endless supply of pictures of 'hilarious' memes?

True. We could probably close CE&P, Philosophy & Religion, Sports & Gaming, the music forums, Television & Movies, and Words too. They're just taking up non-HR bandwidth.
