Stimulants IV Methamphetamine and Microfilter Use

So if someone I know who had some cottons she was planning on getting a pretty hefty shot out of, and her boyfriend spilled rootbeer all over said cottons, what would be the hypothetical likelihood of her successfully being able to use a microfilter to minimize residual rootbeer content and decrease risk of infection or other complications?

I'm not going to talk about what I would do here, because that is bad advice.

My first thought would be to wash them with isopropyl alcohol or acetone, because sugar bouncing around in your veins is why diabetics eventually lose toes. A micron filter will help eliminate the sugar, but possibly leave behind chemicals and such.
