Okay, I have certain themes in my writings. In almost everything I write, drugs and/or lesbians are involved. Don't judge me, it's just how I write.
However, the only inspiration I've been using to get ideas is pornography? Is porn not good for that? Porn and anime have pretty much inspired everything.
Most of the stories I've written were positively received. But the people on DeviantArt are fucking stupid, so I can't trust that I'm that good just because I get positive reception. I've written stories that people have praised, some even claiming I brought them to tears...
But looking back, those stories were ass. I mean... The shit that I wrote that I know was bad always got good reviews and ratings.
That's kind of why I come here to ask, because the people on DA don't know shit about good literature and getting praise there doesn't mean shit. I mean... I make a story about "drugs, self-harm, lgbt, emo stuff, depression, anxiety or suicide" with zero effort and put it on DA. People will act like your some kind of profound, emotional genius.
But enough ranting... Can pornography be a good source of inspiration?
