Is plugging opiates a waste of the drug?

Given the nature of opiates to cause significant constipation, wouldn't a daily user have to deal with the issue of fecal absorption of the liquid after it is "delivered?" Buprenorphine and similar drugs are often plugged, if the person has not taken a dump in a week (which is probably the case), wouldn't there probably be shit on deck at the rectum to absorb and waste?

I would consider it to be wasteful and unbeneficial if your plugged up and haven't gone to the bathroom recently.

If you've just cleaned yourself out, your looking for the added bioavailability that plugging offers a number of substances and your comfortable with the act then I'd give it a go and it's not wasteful.

Yes it would be a waste if done like that but hopefully they are wise enough to use enemas and/or laxatives to go regularly. Fecal impaction is dangerous so they'll need to go regularly whether they are plugging or not.

That would be a lot of enema for a daily user. Obviously bioavailability is the goal. Everyone knows the damage from snorting too long. Chewing them up and coating the inside of the mouth not just under the tongue (while relatively dry) works fairly well, specially if you wake up an hour or two before you need to get up, do it, and fall back to sleep.
