Is it better to take Diphenhydramine before or after Poppy Pod Tea? Also Cimetidine?

Just a quick couple of questions that has probably been asked hundreds of times already, Yet I can not find a definitive answer. Tea is brewing as I type, so any quick reply will be of much help....

Should I take my antihistamine which happens to be Diphenhydramine, before, or after I consume my Poppy Pod Tea?

Will Cimetidine be worth taking as it inhibits CYP 3A4? I guess take it before, even though I only have 20mg left?

Any other recommendation would be appreciated. Thanks
