Do acidic drinks that have citric acid, etc... have any effect on generic clonazepam and how they are absorbed or if the acid destroys any of the clonazepam?

I would say def not seeing as stomach acid is much stronger. I'm not going to ask why you need to consume them both at the same time, but reasonable amounts like that from fruit juice really shouldn't be an issue.

Here's a thread about the same thing. It appears that stomach PH shouldn't effect the absorption since clonazepam is very lipid soluble and will dissolve into your fat soon after entering the stomach. If i'm understanding this right it means that clonazepam doesn't spend much time in the stomach and wouldn't be much effected by acidity. Apparently the absorption can be slowed by eating fatty food before dosing but that seems to be the biggest hinderance of rapid absorption.
