Intramuscular mishap

Ok so I use opiates (h to be more specific) intramuscular and use the micron filter to get it as clean as possible. So I haven't had an abscess since starting those 3 yrs ago but I think I went in not a muscle. I have been using my butt for some time and recently had to go around to the hip due to hard butt muscle effect the injection sites get eventually becoming well the entire area. Well something went wrong! I have pain and bruising way below the site and aching that's traveled from hit to knee now. I tried icing it....wrong! Made it all way worse and now I'm not sure what to do. Any one ever have this happen and possibly things I can do to heal this situation preferably without going to doctor??

Unfortunately you need to go to see a doctor and get antibiotics. Abscesses are very serious and can be life-threatening. And they can go quickly from painful to blood poisoning. You can't fuck around with abscesses.
