I'm gonna grow me a cacti!

Between San Pedro, Peruvian Torch, and Peyote does anyone know which ones are easiest to grow? Basically any information at all would be cool.

Unless you're in a desert locale or have access to a greenhouse suited for them, expect yields from basically everything except the high alkaloid cultivars to be mediocre at best. And just remember cacti take many years to grow to a good size.

If you're going to grow something, grow peyote - it's an endangered species.

I recently got re interested in cactus cultivation, I see there are a ton of different plants people are using for grafting these days and growing some fast growing peyote. You no longer have to wait ten years.

Isn't the only way of making peyote "grow fast" to graft it onto san pedro? Plus to trip on peyote you need about 10 of them (experienced indians use upwards of 40) so it's going to cos you a pretty penny.

Graft onto a compatible species with a fast-growing root system, often Periskiopsis is used.
