If six degrees of separation is true then why haven’t I ever heard of you before?

Even if I had heard of you.... It doesn’t mean I really know you. Are we talking about social media accounts here or the unified field theory? Any thoughts?

I doubt 6° of separation is enough to even get the tip in. I would insist upon at least 90° of separation to facilitate full penetration.

Hang on, what are we talking about again..? ;)

The Wikipedia page goes into some detail on the validity of "six degrees." It is certainly not true in the absolute sense, in that their are small, isolated populations in the world that are not in contact with the rest of the world's population.

I've lived in the same small city for 14 years now. Every now and then I meet someone who knows someone I know, but it's still not common.

I don't think everyone knows each other by proxy.
