Alcohol If I took only pill of Antabuse 250mg, can I drink after 3 days?

I know this pill is supposed to build up the more you take it, and some people say it might last up to 2 weeks. But what if I only took it once, do you think it's ok to drink after 72 hours (3 days)?

If you're not drinking too much then nothing too serious should happen. You will feel like shit though.

I suppose it depends how much you took, how much you drink, and how long it takes for your body to eliminate the drug from your body.

I'd suggest waiting, but if you don't then don't drink too much because that would probably not be okay.

There have been stories of complications happening as much as two weeks after discontinuing. I don't know if those were cases of accumulation or not.

Question is, did you already, or were you planning to take a single disulfiram? Because if you haven't yet, I recommend you don't. We do have a Sober Living support forum if the hooch is a problem.
