hydromorphone 4mg question

I get 84 pills every two weeks, or 168 a month. I have hip and SI joint problems and crushed compression and wedge fractured vertebrates from T7 through T12 and problems with my neck.

Lately I go through the 84 pills in two weeks in 1 week. Would my doctor balk and asking for a higher dosage or moving to 8mg? What do other get per month?
