Hydrocodone syrup as a nasal spray?

I decided to do some research online about the cough syrup that the doctors gave me I found that it contains 5ml of hydrocodone per ml, then I got a crazy idea, what if you put the syrup in a no drip nasal spray bottle? Would the absorption rate of the syrup be faster? Has anyone ever tried, debated, thought of it or am I just plain stupid I'm just wondering that's why I came here for help your responses are much appreciated. by the way I'm new to this forum so if I broke any rules with this post please tell me

Sounds fairly stupid, not gonna lie. Which actual syrup is it? Syrups have sugar normally which will gunk up your nose and spray bottle.

dude, this is ridiculous. I'm assuming you mean 5mg/mL, the amount of syrup you'd have to squirt up your nose would be disgusting. Hydrocodone has a fast onset already, and if it's in a liquid suspension form it will hit you faster then the pills would anyway because it doesn't have to break down all the binders.
