How long can you store unopened vials of testosterone?

What is the absolute longest time you can keep unopened vials of testosterone esters in storage without them going bad? Absolute longest, not recommended, that is. 10 years? Would 1ml pure glass break-top vials be superior to normal 10ml bottles?
 
Yes, but expiry dates are "recommended" dates. My question is how long they actually keep if stored properly.
