So I made a whoopsie. I keep beta blockers around to aide times when I'm in opioid withdrawal.
I just took what I thought were five 30mg Codeine Phosphate pills only to immediately realise (after swallowing) that what I ACTUALLY took was five 5mg Bisoprolol pills.
It's not a huge overdose, but it is 2.5 x the maximum dose. And on top of this I also suffer from Orthostatic Hypotension (if I sit up or stand up too quickly, or even reach up, my diastolic pressure plummets).
They're at least designed to release of 24 hours, so there's some wriggle room there.
I now beta blockers slow your heart, but do they also lower your blood pressure?

I currently feel 100% fine, but this only happened like 8 minutes ago.

[in my defence the two meds are the same size and shape, plus codeine is white and bisoprolol beige]
