For a first time user, if I smoke only 5 my (threshold dose) how will it feel and how long will it last?

yes if you are suicidal a comedown from a long meth binge could be devastating. It brings on a number of symptoms but the most prevalent are a very deep depression with or without psychosis which is NOT a good thing for a suicidal person to do.

It's worse overall because it tends to last way longer. But that's to be expected because the meth high is way longer too. Omg when I first started meth the comedowns were horrible and seemed to last until I used meth again. Then I learned about benzos and comfort meds

And yes if you're suicidal you should avoid all drugs but especially meth. It is extremely powerful and should be treated with respect.

Sorry, can't comment on your 5mg dose because with street meth it's impossible to truly tell how much you are taking. Saying that, that dose should give you some nice CNS stimulation without much of a comedown at all.

That's what I am wondering, assuming 100% pure, would 5mg give a slight euphoria and energy to help. Me work my 8 hours, but have a very light comedown afterwards?

It is much worse of a comedown, at high doses.

In low doses the comedown is smoother than cocaine. But only in therapeutic doses (below 40mg or so). Common recreational doses of meth can produce some nasty comedowns. The depletion of monoamines can have a long lasting draining after effect.

As noted by others the comedown is partially dose-dependent and partially dependent on length of use.

Even a half gram 2-day binge by a newbie will leave them feeling the worst they have ever felt psychologically for a couple of days.

Meth has an almost unique propensity to find every trigger of any propensity a person has for depression and/or anxiety and absolutely go to town on them during the comedown. It’s the only time I’ve ever felt genuinely suicidal. And that feeling lasted for quite a few days following my first binge.

Not wanting to encourage meth taking at all, but it is also true that meth comedowns get easier/weaker over time and with experience. People I know who smoke daily for months at a time have been able to stop for weeks (when they end up in jail or because of a supply problem or Covid lockdown) with no more effects than being uncontrollably tired and lethargic.

But yeah, if you’re inexperienced and don’t have access to things benzos or Seroquel…it will be AWFUL. That shit literally had me in a psychiatric ward the first time I “binged”. I was paranoid and convinced that everybody was whispering about me and saying bad things about me. I was clearly in a psychotic state from sleep deprivation—just outside yelling at nobody in the middle of the night in the freezing cold. Someone called the police and they did a welfare check. Of course that just made it worse. They thought I was schizophrenic and having an episode.

It would be YEARS before I tried it again.

However I quit for real about 3 or 4 months ago by switching to taking Ketamine and/ LSD whenever I had cravings.

In that time I just smoked a couple of points one time when a woman gave me some GHB which I had zero experience with. I just lost all inhibitions in that moment. But couple of days later I was back to having no interest in meth.

Things moved way to fast that night for me to discern just “Meth + GHB”…

But I can report that “Dexamfetamine + Coke + MDMA + Viagra + meth + GHB” makes the ceiling fluoresce brightly in neon colours and kind of ebb and flow like a swirling river. It also makes you feel pretty sure all is good with the world, money is meaningless, that there is no such thing as sin with consenting adults, lose track of time, and believe a smallish dildo inserted slowly into your arse will greatly help center you and get a grip.

If there ever was a night i was grateful I left home in an Uber it was that one.

The comedown from a 5mg dose will be minimal. A slight depression maybe. L-tyrosine can be taken to reduce these feelings.
The effects from 5mg will be minor even if it's very high quality. You might feel a slight boost in mood and energy that will last a few hours. Overall very underwhelming. The inability to fall asleep will continue for maybe 4 -5 hours after the high wears off at least ime.
A good starting dose would be 15mg-20mg.

Bloody hell that reminds me of one of the only two times I tried this stuff.
I got convinced my flatmates were plotting to kill me while overhearing snippets of conversation in the shower. I was so terrified I ran out of the shower and into the street dripping wet & bollock naked screaming for help.
... This was not the most fun experience.

from quality gear, I will ruminate like a mother fucker on the comedown - a stressful, worrying or demanding cogitation , I just cant shake it,
a taxing conundrum will wake me every 20 minutes; thankfully only lasts a day or so.

Eat well, good rest and hydrolytes in big pill form, quenches that insatiable thirst !
