So like I get how it affects your brain and makes it release serotonin, dopamine, oxytocin, etc... but i read somewhere that a dose releases 80% of your serotonin. So my question is if that is true why do higher mg doses have more profound effects? :?

the directory - look here first

six simple guidelines

there is also a search function in the top right of your page. search key words like you would with any other search engine.

hope that helps a little bit!

put simply, its the neuro chemicals that mdma releases that gives the high feelings, the more neuro chems released the higher one feels. obviously there is a flip side to this, 'what goes up must come down', so to speak.

MDMA releases built up serotonin, dopamine, and noradrenaline in your brain and prevents it from being reabsorbed into your brain for a little while. A higher dosage coaxes even more of these chemicals out, and hinders re-absorbtion even more. This leads to a much higher concentration of pleasure chemicals floating around your head and a more intense high when you dose higher mg's.
