Benzos How do all you guys get Benzos?

All the opioid withdrawal forums talk about using benzos like Xanax or Valium during the Withdrawal period, which I'm sort of confused about because they're controlled substances that are almost as hard to get as the opiates themselves. My doctor prescribed me Atarax for anxiety and I hate it, it makes me feel like I can't breathe and if anything makes the anxiety worse.

I feel like when I ask for Xanax they think I'm going to abuse it just because I asked for that particular drug, you know. So what are you saying to your doctor that makes them decide to prescribe it for you?
