Looking forward to seeing some Bluelighters there :)

I wish I could go this year but alas.
I do feel lucky for having gone the year they had thevShulgins and Nichols as speakers.

Hey Champ :) <3

Hey Delsyd!

that was an awesome year for sure.

I think that yes, the conference will be recorded.
Hope to see some bluelighters there!

Great conference this year, it seemed like the most highly-attended yet. I particularly appreciated Hamilton Morris' talk on journalistic responsibility in reporting on psychedelics. And of course it meant so much to see Peter Gasser speak on the first study of LSD on humans in over 35 years. One aspect of Horizons I truly appreciate is that the curation of the program is careful to avoid overtones of psychedelic boosterism, and John Harrison's talk on the psychedelic treatment of addiction and Clancy Cavnar's presentation on Ayahuasca rituals' impact on LGB self-perception were both careful, well-rounded explorations of their topics and more interesting/informative because of this.

I also feel like the audience gets better and more well-informed every year. It's exciting to see all these organizations' efforts to spread knowledge pay off.

Bluelight psychedelics forum users might be interested in the presentation, “Toward a New Understanding of Altered States of Consciousness: Egolysis and Egolytic States” which explores the occurrence of ego loss/"death" during psychedelic experiences. The authors oversaw studies on ketamine and psilocybin therapy at NYU.

I was close to attending but had an issue on the home front this weekend. Where will I be able to find the recorded presentations?

@vortech It was recorded and I think they will be releasing the videos over the next few weeks. You can stay updated by joining the mailing list at horizonsnyc.org.
