Heroin Overdose and Legal Trouble

So there?s this friend who has recently overdosed on heroin, and from what was heard there were police involved. this person might have been in possession of a small amount of heroin (less than 1/2 a gram) and a 1/2 gram of meth. this person is also a minor. i was wondering if there could be any legal trouble? mandatory rehab?

This would be difficult to know for sure because either EMT's and hospital staff would make a judgment call as to whether to notify the police. I think your friend would know after coming home if they were going to pursue charges and I'm hopeful that doesn't happen.
