Just wondering how damaging they are: any weed that crackles and sparks is chock full of unflushed nitrate based fertiliser. Nitrates are oxidisers and used in explosives and that's why they react that way when burnt in plant material.
When you have some weed like this but too much to throw away what do you do? I'm thinking water cure for some of it.
The other fancy nutrients could be just as harmful, but as the majority will be made up of nitrates that's what's most concerning.
