Haldol & Dopamine

i just came out of the mental institution for a 3rd time and this time around i decided to actually experiment with Haldol over there because the doctor said if i dont take it straight for 3 days, he wont let me out!
So anyway I had to do what I had to do. I took it 3 days straight. And It made me FUCKING FEEL LIKE SHIT!!!

I am no scientist, doctor, or pharmacist. But the fact that there is more extracellular dopamine doesn't mean much if the receptor that should be a target of that neurotransmitter is blocked. For example, you can have a high concentration of morphine in your bloodstream but if mu-opioid receptors are antagonized by naloxone/naltrexone then morphine will have no effect. This is using layman's knowledge and logic but I could be reading this wrong. I stand to be corected.

By antagonizing autoreceptors you will get more DA synthed which can do mostly nothing because of blocked receptors but they also say that there was no change in overall dopamine levels:

Haloperidol induces a small increase in extracellular dopamine, a somewhat larger increase in extracellular DOPAC, a larger increase in tissue DOPAC, a large increase in rate of dopamine synthesis, and no change in level of dopamine.

Edit: Haloperidol is an inverse agonist also at D2. Might explain the seen increase in dopamine synthesis.

I'd stick to ami/sulpiride if you want to experiment with autoreceptors.

i dunno... my dopamine jumped 10x last night after i was finally released from the mental ward. i was sedated on haldol and seroquol for a week.

how do i aknowledge and know this? i took tianeptine (known dopa booster) and alcohol (known dopa booster) and i watched porn and jerked off for 4 hours. i havent had such intense rush since i stopped cocaine.
so i assume haldol low dose short term and/or combo with seroquel low dose short term MIGHT POSSIBLY boost dopamine.

self analyses based on how i usually feel. cocaine felt similar and its proven to boost dopamine, no? i felt like i was on high dose cocaine. the amount i have taken in the past with similar dopamine rush, but this time around it was 10x as potent! i base all this solely on my whole life experiencing drugs. especially ones that boost dopamine. perhaps im using the "10" number too liberally, but it was PERFECT, and super POTENT. and 10 describes it best.
ever done the pain test in clinics, hospitals etc where they ask you how do you feel pain on the scale of 1 to 10? how do you really feel pain based on numbers anyway???
